When Obi-Wan Kenobi premiered on Disney+ it didn\u2019t take long for a small group of supposed fans of the Star Wars franchise making racist comments aimed at Ingram, who plays Inquisitor Reva in the new show. Having been warned in advance of what would likely happen, the actress may have been ready to bat away the hate, but it is still something that no-one should have to endure. Ingram posted her own thoughts on the hate in a video message she posted on her Instagram account. She told her fans:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n\u201cThere\u2019s nothing anybody can do about this. There\u2019s nothing anybody can do to stop this hate. I question my purposes in even being here in front of you saying that this is happening. I don\u2019t really know. The thing that bothers me is this feeling inside of myself, that no one has told me, but this feeling that I have to shut up and take it, that I have to grin and bear it. And I\u2019m not built like that. So, I wanted to come on and say thank you to the people who show up for me in the comments and the places that I\u2019m not going to put myself. And to the rest of y\u2019all, y\u2019all weird.\u201d\n <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><!-- No winning ad found for zone: word count #3! --><br \/>\nIngram has clearly had a lot of support and backing from the <em>Obi-Wan Kenobi<\/em> team, both from her fellow actors and crew, as well as the higher up execs of Lucasfilm.
