Ever.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 GordonGoner.eth (@GordonGoner) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GordonGoner\/status\/1535767492638801920?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 11, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nSoon after warning the community, Twitter officials began actively monitoring the activities on the accounts in addition to fortifying their existing security. While issuing the proactive warning, Goner informed investors that the company would never conduct surprise mints \u2014 a popular method attackers use to lure in victims.<\/p>\n<p>The popularity and public demand of Yuga Labs\u2019 NFT offerings resulted in the inadvertent rise of ape-themed scams. On June 5, attackers managed to breach into Yuga Labs\u2019 BAYC an OtherSide Discord groups and made away with over 145 Ether (ETH).<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">BAYC &amp; OtherSide discords got compromised\u203c\ufe0f<\/p>\n<p>Seems because Community Manager <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BorisVagner?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@BorisVagner<\/a> got his account breached, which let the scammers execute their phishing attack.
