Richard Bullock\u00a0died during a training mission\u00a0in Trona, California.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday,\u00a0five Marines were killed\u00a0when a\u00a0Marine MV-22B Osprey crashed\u00a0in a Southern California desert about 150 miles west of San Diego.<\/p>\n<p>More than 40 people have died flying on Ospreys since 1991, according to the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/national-security\/2022\/06\/08\/osprey-military-plane-crash-california\/?itid=lk_inline_manual_17\">Washington Post<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the\u00a03rd Marine Aircraft Wing\u00a0identified the dead Marines\u00a0as Corporal Nathan Carlson, 21, of Winnebago, Illinois; Captain Nicholas Losapio, 31, of Rockingham, New Hampshire; Cpl. Seth Rasmuson, 21, of Johnson, Wyoming; Capt. John Sax, of Placer, California; and Lance Cpl. Evan Strickland, 19, of Valencia, New Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>And on Thursday,\u00a0a military aircraft crashed\u00a0less than 100 miles from Wednesday\u2019s crash.
