We weren\u2019t going to end with them sitting around a table reading stories to their grandkids like the original show did. The battle continues, which is where we want to leave the audience. They\u2019re still out there fighting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One of those future stories would have seen Mel taking over the Blue Camellia magic club. \u201cThat\u2019s probably the sweet spot between the Mel who was the angry activist at the beginning of the show and the Mel who found herself along the way,\u201d said Liber. \u201cThat\u2019s be the perfect place for her to be \u2014 in charge and trying to corral the various forces in the magical world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Leiber also suggested that Mel and Roxie\u2019s relationship would continue, with them finding a way to wake Roxie from her seven-year slumber in Season 5. \u201cI don\u2019t think that relationship is over,\u201d Falco added. \u201cIn some hypothetical future, they\u2019d reconnect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another relationship that would have lasted was that of Maggie and Jordan. \u201cThey\u2019re the happily-ever-after relationship of the show,\u201d Falco stated. \u201cThey absolutely would continue on, hopefully fighting the forces of evil in a less mentally destructive manner than they started this season.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1048138\" style=\"width: 865px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1048138\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-1048138\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/charmed-reboot-season03-855x570.jpg\" alt=\"Melonie Diaz, Sarah Jeffery, Rupert Evans, Madeleine Mantock in Charmed\" width=\"855\" height=\"570\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/charmed-reboot-season03-855x570.jpg 855w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/charmed-reboot-season03-433x289.jpg 433w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/charmed-reboot-season03-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/charmed-reboot-season03-234x155.jpg 234w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/charmed-reboot-season03-570x380.jpg 570w, https:\/\/www.tvinsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/charmed-reboot-season03.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 855px) 100vw, 855px\"\/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-1048138\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Colin Bentley \/ \u00a9The CW \/ Courtesy Everett Collection<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Season 5 would also have explored Kaela\u2019s bisexuality, with Falco saying, \u201cWe also really wanted to explore that other side of Kaela next season. That was certainly the plan.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One thing that wasn\u2019t on the cards was the return of Macy, who was killed off in Season 3. \u201cIn almost every episode this season, the grief over Macy is mentioned and is still affecting [the sisters] emotionally,\u201d said Falco. \u201cShe\u2019s very much a part of this world, but it was also important to be able to move the trio forward story-wise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The biggest plan for Season 5 tied directly to the finale\u2019s shocking cliffhanger, which saw Mel, Maggie, and Michaela discover a mysterious door that led them to Halliwell Manor, the home of the sisters from the original <em>Charmed<\/em>. This was set to be the beginning of a <em>Charmed<\/em> multiverse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere were going to be phone calls made about which cast members are available and who\u2019s willing to do it,\u201d Falco explained. \u201cWe had a very flexible plan based on [those logistics], but we never had those conversations because we weren\u2019t going to have them until we got a pick-up. So we\u2019ll never know who may or may not have made an appearance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps that is for the best, as not everybody was happy with the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> cliffhanger. \u201cSo not right!! I dislike the reboot!! And I\u2019m mad they put the OG house in the reboot!,\u201d said one disgruntled <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/sarastivers515\/status\/1536065900255891457\">Twitter user<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Others wished the show would have paid respect to the original sooner, with one fan writing, \u201cI wish they would have had connections to the original throughout. At least have been set in San Fransciso too where they could have possibly met Wyatt, Or Chris or any of the now grown kids of Piper Phoebe and Paige.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">I wish they would have had connections to the original throughout. I LOVE the OG charmed so much.
