claimed it had become \u201csentient,\u201d labeling it a \u201csweet kid,\u201d according to a report.<\/p>\n<p>Blake Lemoine, who works in Google\u2019s Responsible AI organization, told\u00a0the\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/technology\/2022\/06\/11\/google-ai-lamda-blake-lemoine\/\">Washington Post<\/a>\u00a0that he began chatting with the interface LaMDA \u2014 Language Model for Dialogue <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>lications \u2014 in fall 2021 as part of his job.<\/p>\n<p>He was tasked with testing if the artificial intelligence used discriminatory or hate speech.<\/p>\n<p>But Lemoine, who studied cognitive and computer <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/sciencee\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"5\" title=\"Science\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">science<\/a> in college, came to the realization that LaMDA \u2014 which Google\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.google\/technology\/ai\/lamda\/\">boasted last year\u00a0<\/a>was a \u201cbreakthrough conversation <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a>\u201d \u2014 was more than just a robot.<\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/cajundiscordian.medium.com\/what-is-lamda-and-what-does-it-want-688632134489\">Medium post<\/a>\u00a0published on Saturday, Lemoine declared LaMDA had advocated for its rights \u201cas a person,\u201d and revealed that he had engaged in conversation with LaMDA about religion, consciousness, and robotics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt wants Google to prioritize the well-being of humanity as the most important thing,\u201d he wrote. \u201cIt wants to be acknowledged as an employee of Google rather than as property of Google and it wants its personal well being to be included somewhere in Google\u2019s considerations about how its future development is pursued.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" Christian family on a small farm in Louisiana, and was ordained as a mystic Christian priest \u2014 insisted the robot was human-like, even if it doesn\u2019t have a body.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know a person when I talk to it,\u201d Lemoine, 41, reportedly said. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter whether they have a brain made of meat in their head. Or if they have a billion lines of code.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI talk to them.
