The North Carolina r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er hosted his first-ever TED Talk in April, where he discussed the power of maintaining \u201cThe Hi-Level Mindset.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Lost Boy<\/em> rapper began by saying it was his mom who first showed him the \u201cHi-Level Mindset,\u201d which equaled out to being disciplined and optimistic for the future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Hi-Level Mindset wasn\u2019t something that she directly taught me or purposefully instilled in me, but something I learned simply by observation,\u201d Cordae said. \u201cThe Hi-Level Mindset is a philosophy, it\u2019s a wavelength to apply to your everyday thoughts and regiment.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"p-message_pane_message__message_label c-message_kit__labels c-message_kit__labels--light\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__gutter\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__gutter__right\" role=\"presentation\" data-qa=\"message_content\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__blocks c-message_kit__blocks--rich_text\">\n<div class=\"c-message__message_blocks c-message__message_blocks--rich_text\" data-qa=\"message-text\">\n<div class=\"p-block_kit_renderer\" data-qa=\"block-kit-renderer\">\n<div class=\"p-block_kit_renderer__block_wrapper p-block_kit_renderer__block_wrapper--first\">\n<div class=\"p-rich_text_block\" dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"p-rich_text_section\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>He went on to break down the steps necessary to achieve this mindset, with the first step being to remain positive. He applied this first step to a moment early on in his career when he released a mixtape that only garnered 200 downloads.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Hi-Level Mindset made me think, \u2018Man, these misfortunes are just going to make my triumph story a lot cooler. I used this as fuel to the fire, motivation if you will. It made me think, life is just a book, not every chapter is going to be perfect, but it\u2019s about how it ends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cordae\u2019s TED Talk comes as he\u2019s been seen rubbing shoulders with a ton of notable figures in tech and beyond. Most recently, the rapper\u00a0linked with\u00a0Microsoft co-founder\u00a0Bill Gates, where they were seen on video engaging in a deep conversation. He also used the opportunity to tease new music, even though he just dropped off his latest project\u00a0<em>From a Birds Eye View\u00a0<\/em>in January.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI always gain hella weight when I\u2019m in album mode smh,\u201d he tweeted, before writing the next day, \u201cTime to drop some music. Fuck allat waiting shit.
