The number of participants is estimated to be\u00a0around 80-90,000 per day\u2014an increase from 55,000 at Comiket 99\u2014and while masks will be mandatory, the organizers announced that they will no longer require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test for entry.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><b><i>RELATED: <\/i><\/b><span style=\"color:#f39c12;\"><i>Comiket 100 Confirms August 13 and 14 Dates, Aims for Around 160,000 Attendees<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s more of what they had to say on that matter in the official statement:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 40px;\">At our last announcement in January, COVID-19 was still rapidly spreading and we were expecting to have to check either vaccination status or recent negative test, like we had to at C99. However, given recent stabilization, current government guidelines forgo such checks, as long as proper \u201cinfection prevention measures\u201d are being implemented.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Comiket usually kicks off at 10:00am, but this year it will start at 10:30am. Temperature checks will be conducted at entry, and per policy\u00a0the maximum number of attendees has been c<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed to prevent overcrowding.
