Luckily, Microsoft Word provides you with features to help you align your objects.<\/p>\n<p>By enabling Alignment Guides or Gridlines in Word, you can place your items neatly on the page and lined up for a consistent and professional appearance. You can also customize the settings for each feature per your preference.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Enable_and_Use_Alignment_Guides\"><\/span>Enable and Use Alignment Guides<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Using Alignment Guides, you see lines as you drag your <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/363208\/how-to-position-images-in-a-word-document\/\">object on the page. Return to the Layout tab and Align drop-down menu. To display the Alignment Guides, check the box at the top.
