It is the former WWE champion\u2019s third DUI arrest in the past 10 years, which is a third-degree felony that could lead to jail time. Hardy was released on a $3,500 bond on Tuesday, June 14.<\/p>\n<p>AEW President and CEO Tony Khan released a statement on Tuesday addressing the situation: \u201cWe were able to resume contact with Jeff Hardy this afternoon,\u201d Khan tweeted. \u201cAEW does not condone Jeff\u2019s alleged behavior. We\u2019ve made it clear to Jeff that we\u2019ll assist him in getting treatment for substance abuse issues, which he has indicated that he\u2019s open to receiving.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The statement continued, \u201cIn the interim, he is suspended without pay, and he can only return to AEW upon successfully completing treatment and maintaining his sobriety.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"zxx\"><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/pDJA55cyaN\">pic.twitter.com\/pDJA55cyaN<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tony Khan (@TonyKhan) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TonyKhan\/status\/1536772801906065414?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 14, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Hardy made his debut for AEW on March 9 on an episode of <em>Dynamite<\/em>, the company\u2019s weekly television program on TBS. He was released by WWE in late 2021 under controversial circumstances; Hardy walked into the crowd during a December 4 live event match, leading to WWE officials believing he was under the influence. Hardy denied the allegations and refused to enter rehab; WWE let him go five days later.<\/p>\n<p>The high-flying performer, known for his death-defying moves, was scheduled to team with his brother Matt on this week\u2019s episode of <em>AEW Dynamite<\/em> in a Tag Team Championship match \u2014 the Hardy brothers have since been pulled from the contest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was disheartening to hear the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> about my brother yesterday,\u201d Matt tweeted. \u201cRecovery isn\u2019t a linear process &amp; I\u2019ll continue doing whatever I can to help my brother be healthy.
