Eric Holder, the man accused of gunning down the prolific Los Angeles r<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>er\/activist, is charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.<\/p>\n<p>During the hearing,\u00a0Deputy District Attorney John McKinney alleged Holder gunned down Nipsey in a Crenshaw parking lot, walked over to his bullet-riddled body and kicked him in the head. McKinney then told the jurors\u00a0Holder said to Nipsey, \u201cYou\u2019re through,\u201d to which Nip replied, \u201cYou got me.\u201d He later revealed\u00a0a bullet had actually \u201ctransected\u201d Nipsey\u2019s spine, meaning even if he had survived, he would\u2019ve been paralyzed for the rest of his life.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DZ_O-CU6MMM\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DZ_O-CU6MMM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2022-06-15\/trial-begins-for-man-accused-of-killing-nipsey-hussle\"><em>Los Angeles Times,<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>L.A. County Deputy Public Defender Aaron Jansen admitted, yes, his client had killed Nipsey but argued it was \u201ca crime of passion\u201d rather than premeditated murder.<\/p>\n<p>McKinney also told jurors to \u201cexpect much of the case to center on gang culture and the issues of \u2018snitching\u2019 and \u2018respect.&#8217;\u201d As he noted in 2019,\u00a0\u201cApparently, the conversation had something to do with [Hussle] telling Mr. Holder that word on the street was that Mr. Holder was snitching.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRespect is everything. Reputation is everything,\u201d he said Wednesday. \u201cIt\u2019s a different play on respect than you\u2019re used to. It\u2019s kind of a perverse definition of respect \u2026 a lot of blood has been shed, not only in that gang, but in gangs across the county, over this concept of respect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nipsey never shied from his gang affiliation and would routinely mention his Rollin 60s affiliation in his music.\u00a0Holder faces a de facto life sentence if convicted but under state law, he would eventually be eligible for parole. He\u2019s currently being held in solitary confinement at Los Angeles County Jail.
