Chrome OS devices do too, though it\u2019s not as easy to find. We\u2019ll show you how to use Dark Mode on a Chromebook.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing in June 2022, Chrome OS does not have an \u201cofficial\u201d Dark Mode or Light Mode. The default <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">theme<\/a> is a sort of mix of dark and light elements. However, Google is working on Dark and Light Mode, which we can enable right now with a feature flag.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"admonishment_warning\"><p><strong>Warning:<\/strong> This feature is not enabled for everyone for a reason. It may not work correctly and can negatively impact your browser\u2019s performance. Always enable flags at your own risk.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <strong><em>How to Enable Google Chrome Flags to Test Beta Features<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dark\/Light Mode applies to the entire system UI. That means the Shelf (taskbar), app launcher, system tray with Quick Settings toggles, and system apps are affected.
