\n Police pulled a woman\u2019s body from the Buttermilk Channel in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon, cops said.<\/p>\n

The body was spotted in the tidal strait between Pier 12 and Governors Island just after 1:30 p.m., according to police.<\/p>\n

The NYPD\u2019s Harbor Unit pulled the unresponsive woman, whose name or age was not immedia<\/a>tely known, from the water and brought her to the Atlantic Ferry Basin Dock, where EMS pronounced the woman dead, cops said.<\/p>\n

The city\u2019s medical examiner will determine how the woman died.\n <\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
