the knot in Sawley, England, and decided to film their guests having their first and last drinks to highlight the difference between sobriety and extreme intoxication. <\/p>\n<p>The hilarious video, titled <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@nievejones_\/video\/7105482616379411717?is_copy_url=1&amp;is_from_webapp=v1\">\u201cFirst Drink vs. Last Drink,\u201d<\/a> has clocked up a whopping 9.5 million views on TikTok \u2014 and has <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/discover\/first-vs-last-drink-wedding?lang=en\">even spawned a series of copycat clips. <\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHi, I\u2019m Holly, and this is my first drink!\u201d one of the bridesmaids is seen saying near the beginning of the video, with that footage filmed at the start of the wedding reception.<\/p>\n<p>The clip then cuts to Holly at the end of the evening, with mutters as her head drunkenly tilts back and forth. <\/p>\n<p>Viewers were shocked by how much the alcohol transformed her appearance, with one TikToker writing: \u201cThe bride turned 20 years older clip<\/a> \u2014 also filmed at an English wedding \u2014 recently clocked up more than 3.4 million views and similar shows boozy Brits enjoying their alcohol. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"><figcaption>The man, named Sam Cornforth, filmed himself downing the drinks at a garden wedding in England. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Meanwhile, one wedding attendee decided to do a twist on the trend, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@samcornforth\/video\/7105831391551589638\">filming himself with every single alcoholic beverage <\/a>he consumed over the course of an evening. <\/p>\n<p>Cornforth became progressively drunker over the course of the event, eventually downing around 23 alcoholic beverages \u2014 although he repeatedly lost count due to his intoxicated state. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-tiktok wp-block-embed-tiktok\"\/>\n<p>Cornforth later estimated that he had 14 gin and tonics, as well as glasses of Champagne, wine, Pimm\u2019s and vodka. <\/p>\n<p>At the end of the clip, he was seen battling what looked to be a severe hangover the following morning as he chugged down orange juice at postwedding breakfast.
