The ban only applies to those authors who held Russian citizenship after the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union.<\/p>\n<p>Books printed in Russia, its ally Belarus and occupied Ukrainian territory also can no longer be imported, and special permission is required for the importation of books in Russian from any other countries.<\/p>\n<p>Another law passed Sunday puts the brakes on music by post-1991 Russian citizens played by <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a> outlets and on public transportation.
