He shot me,\u201d the 47-year-old recalled Nipsey stating while he lay on the ground in a pool of blood following the shots allegedly let off by Holder.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI heard it, and then I saw Nipsey fall,\u201d Villanueva continued. \u201cWhen I looked and see Nipsey, I started to run.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Nipsey Hussle&#039;s last moments detailed as murder trial opens | ABC7\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/E3qn-uTuBJo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>After realizing he was shot in the sternum, Villanueva refused medical help on-site from paramedics, but his uncle, who was also talking to Nipsey prior to Holder approaching them, was shot in the lower back.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[My Uncle] was like, \u2018I\u2019m shot also.\u2019 We were paying attention to Nipsey, and he was like, \u2018I\u2019m shot also,\u2019\u201d Villanueva said. \u201cI told him, \u2018Don\u2019t move,\u2019 because he said he was shot in his back, and it was possible he could have a spinal injury.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shermi also stated that he didn\u2019t hear Holder say anything prior to shooting Nipsey, which would seem like a pre-meditated attack rather than the \u201cheat of the moment\u201d argument that Holder\u2019s defense is arguing for.<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__gutter\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__gutter__right\" role=\"presentation\" data-qa=\"message_content\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__blocks c-message_kit__blocks--rich_text\">\n<div class=\"c-message__message_blocks c-message__message_blocks--rich_text\" data-qa=\"message-text\">\n<div class=\"p-block_kit_renderer\" data-qa=\"block-kit-renderer\">\n<div class=\"p-block_kit_renderer__block_wrapper p-block_kit_renderer__block_wrapper--first\">\n<div class=\"p-rich_text_block\" dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"p-rich_text_section\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Police believe a dispute between Holder and Nip broke out after the Los Angeles rhymer accused the assailant of being a snitch. An angered Holder left the scene and returned with the pair of weapons.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNipsey was like, \u2018Man, you know, they got some paperwork on you, you know. I haven\u2019t read it, you know. Like you my bro, you know. Like maybe you need to take care of that, you know,\u2019\u201d a witness said to the grand jury in 2019.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/da.lacounty.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/press\/040419_Man_Charged_With_Murder_of_Rapper_Nipsey_Hussle.pdf\">Eric Holder was arrested on April 4, 2019<\/a>\u00a0after allegedly\u00a0shooting Hussle at least 10 times\u00a0in front of his Marathon Clothing store on March 31, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Holder, 32, faces charges for one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon.
