President Biden says \u201chis top domestic priority is helping Americans weather a surge in prices the likes of which haven\u2019t been seen in four decades.\u201d And there\u2019s a \u201cmagic switch that Biden could flip tomorrow to save the average American household about $800 annually\u201d: repeal the tariffs that President Donald Trump imposed on \u201csteel, aluminum, solar panels, and many other goods imported from China.\u201d Yet \u201cthe White House is reportedly still mulling just how much of that $800 the average household deserves to see.\u201d It\u2019s \u201cstunning\u201d \u2014 and it \u201csums up just how out of touch the White House remains.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Foreign_desk_If_Ukraine_Loses_NATOs_Next\"><\/span><strong>Foreign desk: If Ukraine Loses, NATO\u2019s Next<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cWith major domestic issues such as inflation, the Jan. 6 hearings, abortion and gun control on the president\u2019s plate, the war in Ukraine may seem less of a priority. But it isn\u2019t,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/awakened-to-putins-threat-biden-and-the-west-nod-off-again-russia-ukraine-exports-gas-energy-aid-support-11655495174?mod=opinion_lead_pos6\">warns Garry Kasparov at The Wall Street Journal<\/a>. \u201cUkraine is the frontline now, but if [Russian President Vladimir] Putin succeeds, he won\u2019t stop there. A direct confrontation with North Atlantic Treaty Organization forces will become inevitable.\u201d Alas, in a 23-minute interview on \u201cJimmy Kimmel Live\u201d this month, President Biden never even mentioned the war. \u201cIf the goal is Ukrainian victory, the White House must say so clearly and everything Ukraine needs must be sent now.\u201d The only way to end the war is \u201cby helping Ukraine regain its territory and sovereignty and destroying Mr. Putin\u2019s war machine. Anything less would allow Russia to consolidate and rearm, while Ukrainians under occupation suffer.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Conservative_Biden_79_Is_Utterly_Overwhelmed\"><\/span><strong>Conservative: Biden, 79, Is Utterly Overwhelmed<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Last August, CNN\u2019s Chris Cillizza denounced it \u201cgross, lowest-common-denominator politics that drive people away from public life\u201d to raise doubts about President Biden\u2019s mental fitness, but now, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/the-morning-jolt\/the-taboo-lifts-on-discussing-bidens-age\/\">observes National Review\u2019s Jim Geraghty<\/a>, it\u2019s \u201can acceptable subject for quiet and subdued expressions of public concern.\u201d An Atlantic piece and a New York Times article both addressed it, as did a CNN discussion. He \u201crarely does more than one public event each day, and rarely attends events at night\u201d and \u201cgoes home to Delaware almost every weekend.\u201d At 79, his rare interviews pack blatantly false assertions amid \u201ctrailing half-sentences and fragmented thoughts.\u201d In short, \u201che\u2019s overwhelmed by the problems of the job and coping through denial.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Terror_watch_Lefts_Pro-Abortion_Attacks\"><\/span><strong>Terror watch: Left\u2019s Pro-Abortion Attacks<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Apart from the attempt on Justice Brett Kavanaugh\u2019s life, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearinvestigations.com\/articles\/2022\/06\/15\/beyond_the_kavanaugh_scare_dozens_of_incidents_targeting_pro-lifers_nationwide_837247.html\">notes James Varney<\/a> at RealClearInvestigations, \u201cthere have been more than three dozen such incidents directed at crisis pregnancy centers and churches\u201d across the country. These include a firebombing in Buffalo and an arson attack in Madison, Wis., for which \u201ca loosely organized group known as Jane\u2019s Revenge claimed responsibility.\u201d \u201cThe rash of incidents and intimidating behavior\u201d has aroused \u201cskepticism\u201d among pro-life groups that federal authorities \u201chave taken the incident[s] seriously\u201d: \u201cThe Justice Department did not respond to questions from RealClearInvestigations about whether it has classified the multiple incidents as domestic terrorism,\u201d and \u201cthere have been no arrests made in connection with any of the incidents.\u201d Worryingly, \u201cJane\u2019s Revenge has promised to escalate the conflict.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ex-energy_secretary_Joes_War-on-Oil_Milestone\"><\/span>Ex-energy secretary: Joe\u2019s War-on-Oil Milestone<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cGas prices have more than doubled since\u201d President Biden took office, and now the national average has topped $5 a gallon for the first time, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/opinion\/historic-gas-biden-energy-delusion\">rages Rick Perry at Fox News<\/a>. Yet Biden won\u2019t \u201cbudge\u201d from his war on US energy and instead \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears to be doubling down.\u201d His administration, for example, wants to reverse a Trump reform under the Clean Water Act that\u2019ll \u201cmake it more difficult to build\u201d infrastructure \u2014 even, \u201cironically,\u201d the kind related to wind and solar.
