He said that Tesla would cut its salaried workforce by 10% in the next three months, though the firm plans to hire more hourly workers.<\/p>\n<p>He told Bloomberg News that the planned layoffs would affect 3.5% of its overall workforce. Reuters reported earlier this month that Musk planned to lay off 10% of the overall workforce.<\/p>\n<p>The billionaire has repeatedly touted investments in cryptocurrencies in recent years. In March, he\u00a0declared that he \u201cwon\u2019t sell\u201d\u00a0his holdings in bitcoin, ethereum and Dogecoin despite rising inflation and economic uncertainty that has led many investors to sell riskier asserts.<\/p>\n<p>The world\u2019s richest person doubled and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/trip-and-travel\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"10\" title=\"Trip &amp; Travel\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">trip<\/a>led down on his support for Dogecoin \u2014 sending the meme cryptocurrency soaring by more than 12% on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>\u201cI just know a lot of people who are not that wealthy who, you know, have encouraged me to buy and support Dogecoin,\u201d <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2022-06-21\/musk-says-he-supports-dogecoin-after-people-encouraged-him-to?utm_medium=social&amp;cmpid=socialflow-twitter-business&amp;utm_content=business&amp;utm_source=twitter&amp;utm_campaign=socialflow-organic#xj4y7vzkg\">Musk told Bloomberg News<\/a> on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m responding to those people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As of 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the value of a single unit of Dogecoin was trading at $0.067 \u2014 up 12.77%. Bitcoin was trading at just north of $21,600 as of 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday \u2014 down more than 60% since reaching an all-time high of nearly $70,000 in November.<\/p>\n<p>The collapse of the crypto markets has prompted questions about whether backers of the digital coins were irresponsible in promoting them to retail investors.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, The Post reported that cryptocurrency companies who spent heavily on sports sponsorships last year are pulling back this year in order to cut costs.<\/p>\n<p>Crypto exchange FTX \u2014 which shelled out $135 million to rename the home of the Miami Heat in March 2021 \u2014 pulled out of talks to provide a jersey patch to the MLB\u2019s Los Angeles Angels in recent weeks as the crypto market tanked, sources with direct knowledge told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>Another patch deal between the NBA\u2019s Washington Wizards and a crypto company also recently fell through, the sources said.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
