Okay? It\u2019s really like a giant roaring sound, which is the sound of money on fire,\u201d\u00a0Musk\u00a0said in an interview with Tesla Owners Silicon Valley, an official Tesla recognized club, in Austin, Texas, on May 31.<\/p>\n<p>The club divided its interview with\u00a0Musk\u00a0into three parts, the last of which was released on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Musk\u00a0said Tesla\u2019s Texas factory produces a \u201ctiny\u201d number of cars because of challenges in\u00a0boosting\u00a0production of its new \u201c4680\u201d batteries and as tools to make its conventional 2170 batteries are \u201cstuck in port in China.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n    <\/aside>\n<p>The Shanghai COVID shutdowns in China \u201cwere very, very difficult,\u201d he said. The shutdown affected car production not only at Tesla\u2019s Shanghai factory, but also at its California plant, which uses some vehicle parts made in China.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe past two years have been an absolute nightmare of supply chain interruptions, one thing after another, and we\u2019re not out of it yet,\u201d\u00a0Musk\u00a0said.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla\u2019s overwhelming concern, he said, is \u201cHow do we keep the factories operating so we can pay people and not go bankrupt?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Musk\u00a0said earlier this week that a 10% cut in salaried staff at Tesla will h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en over three months. The world\u2019s richest man also said a US recession was more likely than not.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tesla earlier this year started production at the factories in Berlin and Texas, both of which are critical to the growth ambitions of the top electric car maker.<\/p>\n<p>Musk\u00a0said he expected Tesla would start production of its Cybertruck electric pickup trucks, which has been delayed, in mid-2023.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
