That&#8217;s the sound of Beckett Mariner, played by Tawny <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a>ome, celebrating IDW Publishing&#8217;s most recent announcement. First rumored in October 2021, after <em>Star Trek: Lower Decks<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> creator Mike McMahan hinted on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> that fans would eventually see a continuation of the California class crew&#8217;s stories on the comic book page, IDW officially announced that the Lower Deckers are making their comic book debut in a new series from writer Ryan North (<em>The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl<\/em>, <em>Adventure Time<\/em>) and artist Chris Fenoglio (<em>Goosebumps<\/em>, <em>X-Files<\/em>).<br \/>\n <!-- No winning ad found for zone: word count #1! --><!-- No winning ad found for zone: below first paragraph! --><!-- No winning ad found for zone: mid intro! --><br \/>\nOver the course of the first two seasons of <em>Lower Decks<\/em>, the series has shown Trekkies a side of Starfleet that&#8217;s rarely been seen before. Unlike the galaxy-ending missions of the <em>USS Enterprise<\/em>, the <em>USS Cerritos<\/em> is sent on missions that Starfleet deems a lower priority (like second contact missions). He said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\nWhat I love about this stuff is you watch the show, and then between seasons, you get a new story that builds out the world even more. So that would be my favorite way to do it. But we\u2019re still going slow because we\u2019ve only aired two seasons. I was on Rick and Morty when they started making the comics, and that was always a blast because it was like, \u201cOh, look, here\u2019s a whole different take on <em>Rick and Morty<\/em>.\u201d I love that stuff.\n <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Indeed, the comic book series <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ears to be building the <em>Lower Decks<\/em> world onscreen, with part of the story taking place on the ship&#8217;s holodeck. Some of the best episodes of <em>Lower Decks<\/em> take place on a holodeck, like &#8220;No Small Parts,&#8221; starring the murderous holographic Starfleet comm badge, Badgey, or &#8220;Crisis Point,&#8221; starring a murderous Mariner.
