The sculpture is the work of British-Indian artist <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2016\/12\/05\/famed-sculptor-buys-13-5m-tribeca-apartment\/?_ga=2.182340327.1982121771.1655908585-1727715035.1645726889\">Anish Kapoor,<\/a> the creator of downtown Chicago\u2019s Cloud Gate \u2014 which is better known as \u201cThe Bean.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are working really hard to make that h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>en,\u201d said Mike O\u2019Toole, an engineer who is with the Dash 7 Design firm in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n<p>The sculpture sits at the entrance to 56 Leonard St., the 57-story tower known as the Jenga building for its cantilevered floors. It is tucked into a corner of the property below a second-floor overhang with the top portion of the reflective work clearly visible above green construction fencing.<\/p>\n<p>The work at the corner of Church Street has been in the planning stages since 2008. Construction began in 2019 but was stopped by the COVID-19 pandemic. Residents include singer Frank Ocean. Co<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>n Keegan Michael-Key sold his two-bedroom home there last year for $5 million.<\/p>\n<p>The 85-ton sculpture consists of stainless steel plates supported by rods and beams on the interior.
