The streaming service has ordered a new drama <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> based on the last novel by Edith Wharton. Starring Kristine Froseth, Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, Aubri Ibrag, Imogen Waterhouse, and Mia Threapleton, the series is set in the 1870s and follows a group of American women living in London. The drama is currently being filmed in Scotland.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-132355\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Apple TV+ revealed more about the new series in a press release.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cApple TV+ today announced an eight-episode series order for a new untitled one-hour drama inspired by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Edith Wharton\u2019s unfinished final novel \u201cThe Buccaneers,\u201d starring Kristine Froseth (\u201cThe Assistant,\u201d \u201cSharp Stick\u201d), Alisha Boe (\u201cWhen You Finish Saving The World,\u201d \u201c13 Reasons Why\u201d), Josie Totah (\u201cSaved by the Bell\u201d), Aubri Ibrag (\u201cDive Club\u201d), Imogen Waterhouse (\u201cThe Outpost,\u201d \u201cNocturnal Animals\u201d) and Mia Threapleton (\u201cShadows,\u201d \u201cI Am Ruth\u201d) as the buccaneers. Written by series creator Katherine Jakeways (\u201cTracey Ullman\u2019s Show,\u201d \u201cWhere This Service Will Terminate\u201d) and directed by BAFTA Award winner Susanna White (\u201cBleak House,\u201d \u201cJane Eyre,\u201d \u201cGeneration Kill\u201d), the series is currently in production in Scotland.<\/p>\n<p>Girls with money, men with power. New money, old secrets. A group of fun-loving young American girls explode into the tightly corseted London season of the 1870s, kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash as the land of the stiff upper lip is infiltrated by a refreshing disregard for centuries of tradition. Sent to secure husbands and titles, the buccaneers\u2019 hearts are set on much more than that, and saying \u201cI do\u201d is just the beginning\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The buccaneers are Nan St. George (Froseth), Conchita Closson (Boe), Mabel Elmsworth (Totah), Lizzy Elmsworth (Ibrag), Jinny St. George (Waterhouse) and Honoria Marable (Threapleton).<\/p>\n<p>BAFTA Award nominee Beth Willis (\u201cDoctor Who,\u201d \u201cAshes to Ashes,\u201d \u201cHelp\u201d), Emmy Award winner George Faber (\u201cNational Treasure,\u201d \u201cGeneration Kill,\u201d \u201cCollateral\u201d), Jakeways and White serve as executive producers. White will also be lead director.
