Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ers, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">died of a cocaine-induced heart attack<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 at the age of 50.\u00a0 From the streets of Yonkers, New York to the neighborhood record store and a streaming app near you, X had a cult-like following.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When he passed away, millions of fans were struck by the possibility that they would never hear the graveled voice of Dark Man X on new music again, but on the very day of his death, the song \u201cX Moves\u201d was released, teasing his posthumous release <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exodus<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> One week later on April 16, the song <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=RKmcOGX15_E\">\u201cBeen to War\u201d<\/a> by DMX, featuring Swizz Beatz <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">French Montana<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, was released as part of the soundtrack to the television <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Godfather of Harlem<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On May 28, 2021<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Def Jam Recordings<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> released <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exodus<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, DMX\u2019s first studio album since 2012\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Undisputed<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and his first with Def Jam since <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grand Champ<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Exodus<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> contained the track \u201cBath Salts,\u201d featuring <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jay-Z<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nas<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, which was nominated for a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Grammy Award<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for best rap song.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now fans have been given a new rock-tinged DMX single \u201cKnow What I Am.\u201d Produced by British guitarist <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Mark Gemini Thwaite, \u201cKnow What I Am\u201d starts with an aggressive, guitar laden introduction that is combined with vocalizations from Thwaite that complement X\u2019s lyrics and the coarse growls that endeared him to fans across genres.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The new posthumous song comes as DMX\u2019s name continues to be lifted up by his friends and peers. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a recent interview with TMZ<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, producer Irv Gotti said that the House Music influences in Drake\u2019s new album, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Honestly, Nevermind<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">,<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> made him want to look for a \u201cnew DMX.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cPersonally, I love Drake,\u201d he said. \u201cI think Drake is a great person, he\u2019s a great human being. But I listened to his album \u2014 and Drake can do whatever he wants as an artist \u2026 but Drake\u2019s new album is not Hip Hop\u2026I gotta get back in the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> and find me a n-gga. That\u2019s what that album made me feel like.
