Here\u2019s how to do it.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Is_an_Unknown_Caller\"><\/span>What Is an Unknown Caller?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>On your iPhone, an \u201cunknown caller\u201d is someone who is not in your Contacts list, which is an address book stored on your device that can be accessed through the Phone or Contacts <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>s. If you\u2019ve called a number recently, your iPhone will not consider that number an \u201cunknown caller\u201d if they call you back.<\/p>\n<p>Apple includes a feature with iOS 13 and up that allows you to silence rings and notifications from unknown callers, which we\u2019ll cover below.\u00a0This does not include numbers you\u2019ve called recently. The call will be sent to voicemail, and it will appear in your recent calls list in the Phone app. You may still get a notification if the caller leaves a voicemail.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re expecting an important call from an unknown number in the future, open Settings and revisit Phone &gt; Silence Unknown Callers, and then switch \u201cSilence Unknown Callers\u201d to \u201cOff.\u201d Incoming calls will no longer be silenced.
