He was helped off the field and removed from the game with what Aaron Boone said afterward was a \u201cminor ankle sprain.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we dodged a bullet there. He caught his spike and kind of rolled it there at third,\u201d Boone said. \u201cI\u2019m hoping it scared him more than anything. We\u2019ll see what we have overnight and [Monday], but I don\u2019t expect it to be serious.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Torres had walked with one out in the ninth before stealing second and advancing to third on a throwing error by catcher Jason Castro. He could be activated as early as Monday or Tuesday. Domingo German (shoulder) is scheduled to pitch for Somerset on Tuesday.
