The 51-year-old rap veteran announced he\u2019s collaborating with his eldest son, Sha, who goes by the rap moniker PXWER. Per\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/06\/26\/method-man-working-on-new-album-with-son-sha\/\"><em>Page Six<\/em><\/a>, Method Man made the announcement while performing at New York\u2019s Irving Plaza.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMethod Man introduced\u00a0his son to the crowd and let everyone\u00a0know they are working on an album together,\u201d an attendee told the outlet. \u201cIt was a really cute, proud moment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Method Man has collaborated with Sha before, but never to this extent, so it\u2019ll be exciting to see what the father-son duo come up with. Not surprisingly, PXWER isn\u2019t a newbie when it comes to rap. The 26-year-old is currently in a group called 2nd Generation Wu with\u00a0Sun God, Young Dirty Bastard and iNteLL, who are the sons of Ghostface Killah,\u00a0the late Ol\u2019 Dirty Bastard, and U-God. Method had previously collaborated with the group on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DoBBEddfjyg\">2020\u2019s \u201cNext Generation\u201d remix.<\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"p-message_pane_message__message_label c-message_kit__labels c-message_kit__labels--light\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__gutter\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__gutter__right\" role=\"presentation\" data-qa=\"message_content\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__blocks c-message_kit__blocks--rich_text\">\n<div class=\"c-message__message_blocks c-message__message_blocks--rich_text\" data-qa=\"message-text\">\n<div class=\"p-block_kit_renderer\" data-qa=\"block-kit-renderer\">\n<div class=\"p-block_kit_renderer__block_wrapper p-block_kit_renderer__block_wrapper--first\">\n<div class=\"p-rich_text_block\" dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"p-rich_text_section\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s dope to work with my pops,\u201d PWXER previously told <em>HipHopDX.<\/em> \u201cIt\u2019s like a dream come true to be honest. I knew he was gonna body me, but it\u2019s whatever. Not many up and coming artists can say they worked with a Hip Hop legend like Method Man.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel like everything just came together naturally with this year being a really good year for the Wu and everything they got going on,\u201d iNteLL said of the newly formed group to DX. \u201cI\u2019ve been trying to get all the sons together for a minute. I grew up with Meth\u2019s son. He\u2019s my blood cousin. I grew up with Ghostface\u2019s eldest son Supreme, too. He raps, as well.
