Now the app is finally available on Apple TV streaming devices.<\/p>\n<p>Xfinity Stream is an application for <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/xfinity-stream\/id731629156?at=1010l392g\">iPhone and iPad<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.xfinity.cloudtvr\">Android<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B01DUQOSRQ?tag=htgnews-20\">Amazon Fire devices<\/a>, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/redirect.viglink.com\/?key=204a528a336ede4177fff0d84a044482&amp;u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.xfinity.com%2Fsupport%2Farticles%2Factivate-xfinity-tv-app-on-roku\">Roku<\/a>, and other smart TVs that plays live TV and cloud recordings. You still need to be an Xfinity TV customer to use the app, but it doesn\u2019t need a direct cable connection like a traditional cable box. That makes it a great option for TVs not located near a cable hookup, or mobile devices that only have Wi-Fi in the first place.<\/p>\n<p>Surprisingly, the Xfinity Stream app was not available on Apple TV devices (not to be confused with Apple TV+, the streaming service), even though <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2021\/10\/28\/22750469\/apple-tv-plus-comcast-x1-flex-xclass-streaming-box-tv\">Comcast said nearly a year ago<\/a> that it was on the way. At long last, the app is available for the Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K.<\/p>\n<p>Apple TV is the first platform to get the \u201credesigned Stream app,\u201d which is coming to other platforms soon.
