If so, the platform makes it easy to share your video content in both channels and direct messages. We\u2019ll show you how to do that on Discord on both desktop and mobile.<\/p>\n<ol class=\"justthesteps\">\n<li>Click or tap the plus sign in Discord\u2019s message box.<\/li>\n<li>Find the video file in your folders and select it.<\/li>\n<li>If it\u2019s too large, compress it and try again, or upload it to a video hosting service and share the link.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>While sharing content as a free user on Discord, know that your file size must not exceed 8 MB. Some of these methods may impact your video\u2019s quality, but this is the only option to send your video as an attachment on Discord.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to use the latter method, simply upload your video to YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox, or your choice of cloud storage provider and get the video\u2019s shareable link. Then share this link in your Discord channel or direct message. Your recipient will be able to watch the video by clicking the shareable link.<\/p>\n<p>And that\u2019s how you share some of your favorite videos regardless of their file size with your Discord buddies.
