emergency services spokeswoman Michela Canova told AFP.<\/p>\n<p>Six people had been confirmed dead and eight were injured, she added.<\/p>\n<p>Two of the injured were taken to hospital in Belluno, another in a more serious condition was taken to Treviso and five to Trento.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The total number of climbers involved is not yet known,&#8221; said Canova.<\/p>\n<p>She did not specify the nationalities of the victims.<\/p>\n<p>Helicopters were scrambled to take part in the rescue and to monitor the situation from the air.<\/p>\n<p>Rescuers in the nearby Veneto region of northeast Italy said they had deployed all their Alpine teams, including sniffer dogs.<\/p>\n<p><b>Further collapses feared<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Images filmed from a refuge close to the incident show snow and rock hurtling down the mountain&#8217;s slopes and causing a thunderous noise.<\/p>\n<div class=\"article-gallery lightGallery\">\n<div data-thumb=\"https:\/\/scx1.b-cdn.net\/csz\/news\/tmb\/2022\/glacier-collapses-in-t.jpg\" data-src=\"https:\/\/scx2.b-cdn.net\/gfx\/news\/2022\/glacier-collapses-in-t.jpg\" data-sub-html=\"Glacier collapses in the Italian Alps.\">\n<figure class=\"article-img text-center\">\n            <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/scx1.b-cdn.net\/csz\/news\/800a\/2022\/glacier-collapses-in-t.jpg\" alt=\"Glacier collapses in the Italian Alps\" title=\"Glacier collapses in the Italian Alps.\"\/><figcaption class=\"text-left text-darken text-truncate text-low-up mt-3\">\n                Glacier collapses in the Italian Alps.<br \/>\n            <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Other footage shot by tourists on their mobile phones showed the greyish avalanche sweep away everything in its path.<\/p>\n<p>The mountain rescue team released images showing rescuers and helicopters at the scene to take victims from the valley to the village of Canazei.<\/p>\n<p>Their task was made harder because the bodies were tr<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp;
