He stated that the current sector he is currently \u201cmost interested in\u201d is crypto as he slammed it as essentially being worthless while predicting more carnage ahead. <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Crypto really does seem to be imploding. Went from $3 trillion to $1 trillion. Why should it stop at $1 trillion? There&#8217;s no real value there.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cHow many companies can Sam Bankman-Fried save?\u201d he added. <\/p>\n<p>The comments are in stark contrast to just two months earlier when Cramer enthusiastically stated that he was a \u201cbeliever\u201d in Ethereum, and \u201cyou could easily get 35-40%\u201d return on investment in the near future. <\/p>\n<p>This prediction occurred when Ether (ETH) was priced at roughly $3,000, and the price has since dropped 62% since then. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Jim Cramer calling for a 40%+ gain on <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=%24ETH&amp;src=ctag&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">$ETH<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We are so fucked<\/p>\n<p> <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/rcpHuonO4X\">pic.twitter.com\/rcpHuonO4X<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 moon (@MoonOverlord) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MoonOverlord\/status\/1519815797685854210?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">April 28, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>During the segment, Cramer also went after NFTs, as he questioned the amount of money that is being thrown around on such an \u201cawful\u201d asset class: <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cNFTs, I mean, you look at these companies that you\u2019ve never heard of and they blew up over the weekend, and you say to yourself, holy cow, there\u2019s $600 million just going down the drain. [&#8230;] What an awful asset. NFTs sold to you. Made up.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In response to Cramer\u2019s tips, user accounts such as the \u201cInverse Cramer ETF\u201d have sprouted up on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> which tracks \u201cthe stock recommendations of Jim Cramer so you can do the opposite.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The profile has obtained 62,800 followers so far and has recently observed the stock prices of Ford and Nike dropping 25% and 7% apiece since Cramer <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/v\">recommended<\/a> buying them. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"zxx\" dir=\"ltr\">!!! <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/FGhj9r00Y9\">pic.twitter.com\/FGhj9r00Y9<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Inverse Cramer ETF (Not Jim Cramer) (@CramerTracker) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CramerTracker\/status\/1533984508965421057?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 7, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Cramer first bought Bitcoin (BTC) back in December 2020. During the bear market in June last year, Cramer stated he sold all of his BTC saying the price is \u201cnot going up because of structural reasons.\u201d Four months later the price of BTC surged to its ATH of roughly $69,000. <\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Bitcoin price swings 7.5% during intraday trading as US recession concerns mount<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Another notable tip occurred in August 2021, when Cramer suggested buying Coinbase stock COIN as it was \u201ccheap\u201d at roughly $248. At time of writing, COIN is <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/quote\/COIN\/\">priced<\/a> at $55.41 according to Yahoo Finance. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">This would be fine if he a) was a crypto skeptic all along b) ack that he was pushing it when it was going up and got call wrong. Instead he&#8217;s a bandwagoner on steroids- last guy to praise stuff bf it collapses and last guy to trash it bf it rebounds.
