The second option is easier if you\u2019re planning to print documents like to-do lists.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Option_1_Use_Words_Developer_Tools_to_Add_the_Check_Box_Option_for_Forms\"><\/span>Option 1: Use Word\u2019s Developer Tools to Add the Check Box Option for Forms<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In order to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"How to Create Fillable Forms with MS Word 2010\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/203892\/how-to-create-fillable-forms-with-ms-word-2010\/\">create fillable forms that include checkboxes, you first need to enable the \u201cDeveloper\u201d tab on the Ribbon. With a Word document open, click the \u201cFile\u201d drop-down menu and then choose the \u201cOptions\u201d command. In the \u201cWord Options\u201d window, switch to the \u201cCustomize Ribbon\u201d\u00a0tab.
