star Joseph Quinn brushes away tears after fan thanks him&#8221;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<div>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cStranger Things\u201d season four breakout star Joseph Quinn broke down during an interview over the weekend after an audience member thanked him for sharing his time with fans at an earlier photo op. <\/p>\n<p>Quinn, who played Hellfire Club leader Eddie Munson in the Netflix show, was among the lineup at London Film and Comic Con and spent Saturday posing for fan photos at a reportedly overbooked meet-and-greet \u2014 during which security allegedly mistreated him. <\/p>\n<p>He wiped tears away when a fan thanked him at the later event. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cMine\u2019s not really a question, it\u2019s just more of an extension of gratitude really,\u201d the audience member told Quinn during the Q&amp;A, according to a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=cyZ4k_uiNCE\">video posted online<\/a> of the exchange. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sure a lot of us have heard what h<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Top bloke.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A third \u201cStranger Things\u201d fan corroborated the accounts. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo despite the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Showmasters\">@Showmasters<\/a> staff being overly rude to guests and Joseph Quinn himself, Joseph was still so amazing and genuinely happy to meet his fans, he even gave me a hug, thank you Joseph for being so amazing and despite everything you were still so happy to see us all,\u201d she <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Yazzles456\/status\/1545822828469026817\">wrote<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The unnamed fan who thanked Quinn directly went on to say that many fans related to his character. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that we all really connected with Eddie for one reason or another, whether we liked his music taste or that he is the outsider like you mentioned,\u201d she said. \u201cI think all of us are part of Eddie. We all traveled far because we all really connected with you as well and you really made our weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHowever you were treated yesterday, we are so grateful.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Quinn repeatedly wiped his eyes with his hands before expressively using his sleeve to wipe away any remaining tears. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAw why\u2019d you do that?\u201d he replied. <\/p>\n<p>The organization that promoted London Film and Comic Con denied reports that staff had been rude to Quinn and fans and said the event was not overbooked. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are a few untrue stories going around about Joseph &amp; his family members being shouted at by his security team, which are 100% untrue,\u201d Showmasters Director of Events Jason Joiner wrote in a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Showmasters\/status\/1546900464586919937\">lengthy Twitter thread<\/a>. \u201cThere is a story about Joseph being overworked &amp; the event being oversold which again is 100% untrue.\u201d\n                        <\/div>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
