The weighted average maturity of its Treasury assets was 43.9 days. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe USDC reserve is held solely in cash and 3-month U.S. Treasuries, held in segregated accounts for the benefit of USDC holders, and is entirely separate from Circle\u2019s operations,\u201d Circle chief financial officer Jeremy Fox-Green <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.circle.com\/blog\/providing-greater-transparency\" data-amp=\"https:\/\/www-circle-com.cdn.ampproject.org\/c\/s\/www.circle.com\/blog\/providing-greater-transparency?hs_amp=true\">wrote<\/a> in an accompanying blog post.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Circle continues enhancing our transparency and today we shared a detailed look at the assets backing the USDC reserve. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/1tuaFWZhIO\" data-amp=\"https:\/\/www-circle-com.cdn.ampproject.org\/c\/s\/www.circle.com\/blog\/providing-greater-transparency?hs_amp=true\">https:\/\/t.co\/1tuaFWZhIO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Circle (@circlepay) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/circlepay\/status\/1547648398374817792?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 14, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nCircle said the report is the first monthly breakdown of its stablecoin reserve assets and that it plans to eventually provide daily disclosure of its holdings, pending <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>roval from its custodians. <\/p>\n<p>USDC has climbed the stablecoin rankings for much of 2022 thanks to the continued rise of decentralized finance and Circle\u2019s ongoing commitment to regulatory clarity. According to ConsenSys, the stablecoin\u2019s growth has been <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/consensys.net\/blog\/blockchain-explained\/why-stablecoin-usdc-grows-faster\/\">linked<\/a> to a positive market perception that Circle and crypto exchange Coinbase will \u201cissue USDC appropriately.\u201d <\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Related: <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>BIS Committee and IOSCO issue guidance for regulation of stablecoin arrangements<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Circle is expanding its stablecoin operations beyond the U.S. dollar, having only recently launched a fully-reserved euro token. As Cointelegraph reported, Euro Coin, also known as EUROC, will be fully backed by the common currency.
