The longtime New York City radio DJ kicked off the show by saying, \u201cPete Rock, you made a mistake\u201d before proceeding to play various tracks by Roddy Ricch, Nas, DJ Premier and Cardi B.<\/p>\n<p>But before he got into his beef with Rock, he touched on his squabble with Conway The Machine. The two started e-battling earlier this week after the Griselda MC called him out for not playing his music on Hot 97. According to Flex, he plans to get in touch with Conway after his show.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just got a text Griselda got dropped from Shady Records,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m not going to lie. There\u2019s something I like about Conway. I\u2019m going to hit him after I get out of here today. If anybody \u2014\u00a0 what\u2019s his name? Conway The Machine. I saw your video copping a plea. You were copping a plea, but you were being a man about it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m going to send you a beat when I get off of here today and I\u2019m going to give you a week to work on it and I\u2019m going to play it next Thursday. I am going to post that goofy video of you copping a plea also when I get off. Them gatekeepers that you got up there man that\u2019s trying to dictate like who, you know what I\u2019m saying? Like c\u2019mon bruh.
