Authorities believe a professional cyclist named <strong>Moriah \u201cMo\u201d Wilson<\/strong> was spending time with Kaitlin\u2019s boyfriend,\u00a0<strong>Colin Strickland<\/strong>. The two <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>arently went swimming together, and shortly afterward Kaitlin found out \u2014 then allegedly shot Mo to death in a \u201cjealous rage\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The 34-year-old was brought in for questioning but not arrested. She took the opportunity to escape the state and later the country \u2014 going on the lam for about six weeks. Finally she was captured in Costa Rica on June 29 after 43 days on the run.<\/p>\n<p>Seriously, how did she manage to evade authorities so long?? When she was found, she had a bandage on her nose and bruising under her eyes. That name may or may not have been the same as the one she gave\u2026\u00a0<strong>the man she was dating<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"highlight\">Sorry, WHUT?!<\/p>\n<p>Yes, according to a shocking report in the <em>Austin American Statesman<\/em>, the alleged killer went on\u00a0<strong>multiple dates<\/strong> with a man while on the run!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Teal Akerson<\/strong> told the outlet he knew Kaitlin by the name Ari. They met outside the\u00a0<strong>Good Life Tattoo<\/strong> shop in Costa Rica earlier in June and exchanged numbers. They went out a few times, but Akerson says they didn\u2019t get at all serious \u2014 he recalls \u201cAri\u201d told him she \u201cwasn\u2019t ready\u201d to get too close because she had not yet \u201chealed\u201d from a \u201ctraumatizing break up.\u201d One that ended in a jealous murder? Yeah, that\u2019s pretty traumatizing. But considering <em>she<\/em> was the suspected killer, we have to assume she\u2019s talking about being traumatized by the swim date? Yeesh.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently Armstrong was also on high alert. While she was brazen enough to start a new relationship \u2014 seriously, we\u2019re still floored by that! \u2014 she wasn\u2019t totally carefree:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c\u2018We wanted to go out to different place we went to a bunch of different spots but most of the time she wanted to be at a secluded spot not a lot of people.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Teal says her \u201cinsistence\u201d on only spending time in more private, secluded spots finally \u201cmade sense\u201d after he learned her real identity.\u00a0We wonder if he thought she was just trying to keep things romantic at the time? (In any case, y\u2019all single folks out there might want to note that one as a potential red flag!) He told the outlet he was totally clueless the entire time:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI didn\u2019t put any of it together, you wouldn\u2019t imagine it. After it all happened, and I heard what she was really doing and running from it made sense why she didn\u2019t want to be seen.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As for when he found out, Akerson says he didn\u2019t even know Ari was Kaitlin after the arrest. She looked so different that he didn\u2019t recognize her from the photos put out by\u00a0<strong>US Marshals<\/strong>. We guess that facelift and hair change went a long way!<\/p>\n<p>Other Costa Rican locals who met \u201cAri\u201d say she seemed totally normal, making a life for herself teaching yoga and working part-time at the hostel where she was staying, reportedly a $20\/night joint called Don Jon\u2019s Surf and Yoga Lodge.<\/p>\n<p>Last we heard she was in slightly less comfortable digs, having been transported to a jail cell in Austin to face charges of first-degree murder. A $3.5 MILLION bond has been reported, presumably because this woman is the clearest flight risk of all time.<\/p>\n<p>As for Teal, well, it\u2019s probably a good thing they didn\u2019t get too close.
