He was only 28 years old. His family confirmed the <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> to multiple outlets, but no other details about the actor\u2019s sudden death were revealed at this time. He not only served as the writer for the popular animated series<em> Big Mouth<\/em>, but he also voiced the character DeVon for five seasons. Most recently, he co-created and starred in the <strong>Peacock<\/strong> original series <em>Bust Down<\/em>, alongside <strong>Chris Redd<\/strong>,<strong> Sam Jay<\/strong>, and <strong>Langston Kerman<\/strong>. Jak also just finished filming Chelsea Peretti\u2019s feature directorial debut First Time Female Director, which also stars Chelsea,<strong> Amy Poehler<\/strong>, <strong>Megan Mullally<\/strong>, <strong>Megan Stalter<\/strong>, <strong>Max Greenfield<\/strong>,<strong> Kate Berlant<\/strong>, and<strong> Benito Skinner<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>He also performed in stand-up comedy shows around the world, even landing a job as a featured comic on <em>The Comedy Lineup<\/em> in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Tributes have since flooded social media after the sad news of his death broke. <em>Comedy Central<\/em> called Jake a \u201chysterical and honest comedian\u201d in one tribute. Fellow comedian <strong>Tim Dillon<\/strong> expressed on <strong>Twitter<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWe taped Netflix specials together years ago. He was an incredibly funny original voice in comedy and a great guy who will be sorely missed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Actor <strong>Kumail Nanjiani<\/strong> also wrote:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cRest In Peace Jak Knight. Hilarious comedian and a great guy.
