In this guide, we\u2019ve used screenshots from Facebook\u2019s desktop site.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>RELATED:<\/strong> <strong><em>How to Sort Your Facebook Feed by Most Recent<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_Does_%E2%80%9CTake_a_Break%E2%80%9D_Mean_on_Facebook\"><\/span>What Does \u201cTake a Break\u201d Mean on Facebook?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Facebook\u2019s \u201cTake a Break\u201d feature basically lets you control whose posts you see in your <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">news<\/a> feed as well as who can see the posts from your account.<\/p>\n<p>Using the feature, you can <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.howtogeek.com\/674715\/how-to-mute-someone-on-facebook\/\">make Facebook stop displaying someone\u2019s posts in your feed. This may be good for you if you aren\u2019t on good terms with someone anymore but don\u2019t want to completely block or\u00a0unfriend them. You can also limit that person\u2019s access to your Facebook profile.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, you can choose who can see the posts in which both you and that other person are tagged. Facebook doesn\u2019t notify the user that you\u2019ve used the \u201cTake a Break\u201d feature for their profile.<\/p>\n<h2 role=\"heading\" aria-level=\"2\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Use_Facebooks_%E2%80%9CTake_a_Break%E2%80%9D_Feature\"><\/span><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" name=\"autotoc_anchor_1\">How to Use Facebook\u2019s \u201cTake a Break\u201d Feature<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To start using the feature, launch a web browser on your computer and open the <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/take_a_break\">Take a Break web page<\/a>. Sign in to your Facebook account if you aren\u2019t already.<\/p>\n<p>On the Take a Break page, click the text box and type the name of the person for whom you want to use the feature. Here, choose what you\u2019d like to do with the selected person\u2019s profile.
