The tape, called\u00a0<em>Hip Hop 50 Vol. 1, <\/em>\u00a0brought together a few of Premier\u2019s favorite rappers to lay down some bars over some smooth classic beats.<\/p>\n<p>In a sit-down with <em>Ebro In The Morning<\/em>,\u00a0the iconic producer discussed the new tape and spoke on how he\u2019s still currently waiting for Kendrick Lamar to drop a few songs they cooked up together.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKendrick had come to see me, we had sat together to work on some stuff, so it didn\u2019t materialize, but just the fact that he even showed up and came in the room,\u201d DJ Premier said of K. Dot. \u201cWe had a great time just hanging. I made like ten joints for him and he took \u2019em all even when I\u2019m like, \u2018Which one you want me to give?\u2019 He\u2019s like, \u2018All of \u2019em in order from the way you played \u2019em.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere in the interview, Premier shouted out Pusha T, DaBaby, and Lil Uzi Vert, who he said reached out to him via <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twitter<\/a> DM\u2019s just to show love.<\/p>\n<div class=\"p-message_pane_message__message_label c-message_kit__labels c-message_kit__labels--light\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__gutter\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__gutter__right\" role=\"presentation\" data-qa=\"message_content\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__blocks c-message_kit__blocks--rich_text\">\n<div class=\"c-message__message_blocks c-message__message_blocks--rich_text\" data-qa=\"message-text\">\n<div class=\"p-block_kit_renderer\" data-qa=\"block-kit-renderer\">\n<div class=\"p-block_kit_renderer__block_wrapper p-block_kit_renderer__block_wrapper--first\">\n<div class=\"p-rich_text_block\" dir=\"auto\">\n<div class=\"p-rich_text_section\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cSomebody like DaBaby, I like the way he rhymes,\u201d Preemo said. \u201cI like the way he writes his lyrics. I think he could handle rapping on a Premier Beat. Even [Lil Uzi Vert]\u2026he hits me up and says\u2026\u2019yo people forget I\u2019m from Philly,\u2019 he said, \u2018I didn\u2019t wanna rap over Mass Appeal,\u2019 he said, \u2018if you had put me on \u2018Full Clip\u2019 instrumental, I would have torn it down\u2019\u2026he can rap, and I love him. \u2018Scrape It Off?\u2019 He did his thing on that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The five-track tape Preemo put together was the first in what will be a <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/watch-movies-tv-seriess\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"8\" title=\"Watch Movies &amp; TV Series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">series<\/a> of 10 producer-helmed projects Mass Appeal has planned to celebrate rap.
