This ain\u2019t easy!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chrissy Teigen<\/strong> is celebrating a HUGE accomplishment in her life!<\/p>\n<p>The 36-year-old has been very transparent about her struggles with alcohol in the past. As you may recall, in 2017 she told <em>Cosmopolitan<\/em> she was \u201cjust drinking too much,\u201d saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI was, point blank, just drinking too much. I got used to being in hair and makeup and having a glass of wine. Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show. And then a bunch at the awards show.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She very candidly talked about how \u201chorrible\u201d drinking so much made her feel, and she stated it wasn\u2019t \u201ca good look\u201d for herself, or anyone:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cAnd then I felt bad for making kind of an ass of myself to people that I really respected. And that feeling, there\u2019s just nothing like that. You feel horrible. It\u2019s not a good look for me, for <strong>John [Legend]<\/strong>, for anybody.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Since then, the model has come a long way in her sobriety journey. She has documented her ups and downs for her followers and fans on <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a>, and in December 2020 she posted on Instagram that she was \u201cdone\u201d embarrassing herself. Six months later in June 2021, she openly admitted she \u201chad a few wine hiccups in the road\u201d, but she wasn\u2019t giving up. She was very committed to stopping drinking. She told her fans on <strong>Instagram<\/strong> she didn\u2019t know if she\u2019d ever drink again:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI still dunno if I\u2019ll never drink again but I do know it no longer serves me in ANY way. I don\u2019t get more fun, I don\u2019t dance, I don\u2019t get relaxed. I get sick, fall asleep and wake up sick, having missed what was probably a fun night. I had my fun with it and <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>reciate anyone that can enjoy it responsibly.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So proud of her for doing what\u2019s best for herself!<\/p>\n<p>In January 2022, Teigen met another milestone \u2014 6 months sober! She opened up once again to her fans on the \u2018gram, saying she was \u201chappier and more present than ever,\u201d explaining:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI have no idea what I\u2019m doing honestly, but I do know a few things: I now have endless energy, way less anxiety (no more benzos!) and I am happier and more present than ever. It\u2019s pretty cool.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Her hubby even commented on the post at the time to congratulate her:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cSo proud of you my love.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Aww! Now, 6 months after meeting that goal, Chrissy is celebrating an entire year sober! On Monday, she took to her Instagram stories with a screenshot of her sobriety app showing her streak of 365 days. She even captioned the story \u201clol finally\u201d.
