Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>eared to be the smallest.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs Chris Berman 2x the size of Jeff Passan and 4x the size of Tim Kurkjian?\u201d a <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChrisVannini\/status\/1549177370090913794\">baffled Vannini asked on Twitter<\/a> in a post that received more than 46,000 likes and topped 2,700 retweets.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"587\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/07\/accidental-illusion-heights-01.jpeg?w=1024\" alt=\"Twitter users found the image hilarious and confusing.\" class=\"wp-image-23117689\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/07\/accidental-illusion-heights-01.jpeg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=1535 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/07\/accidental-illusion-heights-01.jpeg?quality=75&amp;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/07\/accidental-illusion-heights-01.jpeg?quality=75&amp;strip=all&amp;w=512 512w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><figcaption>Twitter users found the image hilarious and confusing.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">Twitter\/@ChrisVannini<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p><strong>Spoiler alert:<\/strong> Although Berman is reasonably taller than the others \u2014 he\u2019s 6-foot-5, while Passan is 5-foot-9 and Kurkjian is 5-foot-5 \u2014 optical trickery via an extreme side angle played a part in creating the illusion that Berman was larger than life.<\/p>\n<p>In<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/alexpadilla86\/status\/1549187512576270336?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1549187512576270336%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Flarrybrownsports.com%2Fbaseball%2Fpicture-chris-berman-espn-jeff-passan-tim-kurkjian%2F600913\"> another angle<\/a>, however, Berman appeared to be closer in size to his co-hosts.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<p>But that didn\u2019t stop Twitter users from having some fun and answering Vannini\u2019s hilarious question.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an ESPN Matryoshka doll,\u201d one user joked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHoly s\u2013t \u2013 it certainly looks that way Russian nesting dolls style,\u201d another agreed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[david attenborough voice] while their domesticated counterparts can be trained in sportscasting, in the wild Chris Bermans can grow up even larger\u2014up to two and a quarter meters tall.
