(POLL)&#8221;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h1>\n<div> Streaming is the new cable, but who\u2019s doing it best? For so long, Netflix dominated as the effective sole streaming service, with shows like <em>Orange Is the New Black <\/em>and <em>House of Cards<\/em> some of the first original streaming offerings.<\/p>\n<p>But now, you could argue Netflix is producing far from the best original content on streaming services. It certainly is being l<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed by its competitors \u2014 Apple TV+ became the first streaming platform to win Best Picture at the Oscars with <em>Coda<\/em>. To its credit, Netflix does have two of the most streamed shows of all time based on hours watched.<\/p>\n<p><em>Stranger Things<\/em> is its most watched show of all time, with 1.26 billion hours watched in the first 28 days of the Season 4 release alone. <em>Squid <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Game<\/a> <\/em>wins for the most hours watched in the first 28 days with 1.65 billion hours. But factor in <em>Stranger Things<\/em>\u2018 three previous seasons compared to <em>Squid Game<\/em>\u2018s one (it\u2019s coming back for more), and the Duffer Brothers sci-fi hit is easily Netflix\u2019s most watched show. (Both of the dramas are the only two Netflix shows to cross the billion-hour threshold.)<\/p>\n<p>Streaming services don\u2019t often share streaming numbers, so it\u2019s difficult to know which platform has the most-watched original show of all time. (But it\u2019s hard to imagine many others having over 1 billion hours watched.) But does Netflix have the best original catalogue overall?<\/p>\n<p>Between all of its Shondaland titles (<em>Bridgerton<\/em>, <em>Inventing Anna<\/em>), <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tvinsider.com\/people\/ryan-murphy\/\">Ryan Murphy<\/a>\u2018s shows (<em>The Politician<\/em>, <em>Ratched<\/em>), and titles like <em>Never Have I Ever<\/em>, <em>The Umbrella Academy<\/em>, <em>Sex Education<\/em>, and <em>Ozark<\/em>, it certainly holds its own outside of its two biggest hits.<\/p>\n<p>HBO Max and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tvinsider.com\/network\/hulu\/\">Hulu<\/a> come to mind when thinking of the best overall original catalogue. While HBO Max tends to blur the line between what\u2019s an <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tvinsider.com\/network\/hbo\/\">HBO<\/a> original versus an HBO Max original, the platform still has an impressive catalogue of original works. Recent limited series additions like <em>Under the Banner of Heaven<\/em> and <em>The<\/em> <em>Dropout<\/em> stand out, as well as <em>The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/em>, <em>Reservation Dogs<\/em>, <em>Only Murders In the Building<\/em>, <em>The Great<\/em>, <em>Difficult People<\/em>, <em>Castle Rock<\/em>, <em>Love, Victor<\/em>, <em>The Mindy Project<\/em>, <em>Ramy<\/em>, <em>Shrill<\/em>, newly added <em>The Bear <\/em>(yes, chef)<em>, <\/em>and more. Other notable titles include <em>Normal People<\/em>, <em>PEN15<\/em>, <em>Dopesick<\/em>, <em>Pam &amp; Tommy<\/em>, and <em>Mrs. America<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Apple TV+ may have some of the most Emmy darling shows of all the streamers. It has the most Emmy nominations among streaming services for 2022 at a record-breaking 52 across 13 titles. Those titles include <em>Ted Lasso<\/em>, <em>Severance<\/em>,<em> Schmigadoon!<\/em>, <em>Pachinko<\/em>, <em>The Morning Show<\/em>, <em>The Problem with Jon Stewart<\/em>, <em>Foundation<\/em>, <em>Lisey\u2019s Story<\/em>, <em>Central Park<\/em>, <em>They Call Me Magic<\/em>, and <em>Carpool Karaoke: The Series<\/em><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Prime Video has collected several Emmys for <em>The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel<\/em> and has the most expensive show of all time coming out this year in <em>The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power<\/em>.
