She was leaving a corner store and heading toward a nearby neighborhood when gunshots rang out, striking her and two other victims. One of the victims is believed to be her boyfriend, whom she was known to be with at the time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related: Law &amp; Order Set Becomes REAL Crime Scene When Crew Member Is Shot Dead<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Police were notified im<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">media<\/a>tely by what they refer to as their \u201cshots fired notification\u201d and also received many phone calls through dispatchers. <strong>Officer Kenia Fallat<\/strong> of the <strong>City of Miami Police Department<\/strong> told <em>Local10 <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/news\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"2\" title=\"News\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">News<\/a><\/em> in a statement that when law enforcement arrived they found the teen with \u201cgunshot wounds\u201d:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cWhen the officers arrived, what they found was a woman who was suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Tori was pronounced dead at the scene. She was only 17 years old\u2026 So so sad\u2026<\/p>\n<p>The other two victims who suffered injuries survived and both drove themselves to a local hospital after the shooting took place. It\u2019s unclear if Tori was already dead at this point, but it does seem clear they left her behind.<\/p>\n<p>Wait, wasn\u2019t one of these victims her boyfriend? And he left her there? We guess he did what he had to in order to survive? Which it seems he will. There have been no updates made about their condition, but both surviving victims are believed to be recovering.<\/p>\n<p>As for the investigation, it\u2019s still early days. About 2 hours after the shooting, police recovered a black SUV with gunshot damage to its back windows. They believe this could potentially be related to the ongoing investigation:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThere\u2019s a lot that we\u2019re still trying to figure out. There\u2019s an additional scene that could be related [to the crime].\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>There are no suspects at this time and police urge anyone with information to please come forward.<\/p>\n<p>News of the teen\u2019s death shocked her family and loved ones; it would seem that they didn\u2019t know where she was at the time of her death. A family friend, <strong>Sparky Cunningham<\/strong>, recalled more info to the local outlet:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI am puzzled. It was sad because I\u2019ve known her from when she was a kid. I don\u2019t know what she was doing up on this end, I didn\u2019t know she be on this end.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Relatives reported to <em>TMZ<\/em> that she didn\u2019t even live anywhere near the neighborhood she was visiting, and it\u2019s unsure why she was even there in the first place, reiterating what Cunningham had said. It\u2019s reported that she was excited to start her senior year of high school in the coming weeks. One source who is close to the victim\u2019s aunt in particular said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c[She was in] the wrong place at the wrong time.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Trina has yet to comment on her niece\u2019s tragic death. As you may recall, the 47-year-old rapper also lost her brother <strong>Wilbrent Bain<\/strong>\u00a0in 2013 due to gun violence. Her niece passed away only about 4 miles away from where her brother lost his life. Just heartbreaking\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Our hearts go out to Tori\u2019s family and loved ones.
