Five different sources with direct knowledge of the situation revealed Showtime asked Lopez to \u201cno longer attend tapings or <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ear in meetings\u201d back in November.<\/p>\n<p>Lopez was accused of \u201casshole behavior\u201d that included \u201cbullying, screaming, and making people on the show feel bad.\u201d Desus allegedly sided with Showtime in its decision while Mero stood by Lopez.<\/p>\n<p>Lopez\u2019s dismissal happened around the same time the duo ended their <em>Bodega Boys\u00a0<\/em>podcast. Mero reportedly parted ways with the pair\u2019s lawyer and agent as well, cementing the end of the brand.<\/p>\n<p>Things got so sour that Desus and Mero were reportedly not speaking or doing activities together during the MLB All-Star celebrity <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/game\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"7\" title=\"Game\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">game<\/a> last weekend.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Bodega Hive: The illustrious <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/desusnice?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@desusnice<\/a> and <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/THEKIDMERO?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@THEKIDMERO<\/a> will be pursuing separate creative endeavors moving forward. <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/DESUSandMERO?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#DESUSandMERO<\/a> will not be returning to SHOWTIME. According to Charlamagne, the culture is so quick to comment on the negativity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLike, Desus &amp; Mero been on TV from Vice to Showtime and this show is critically acclaimed, they got a New York Times best-selling book, brand deals and have done some amazing things together and I\u2019ve never seen the culture collectively report on those great things the way they\u2019ve done this break-up,\u201d the radio hall of famer said. \u201cThat\u2019s just the way it is.
