\n A young woman posted TikTok footage of herself swimming in the Hudson River \u2014 sparking a tidal wave of grossed-out comments.<\/p>\n

New York City food blogger \u201cDonna P\u201d posted clips of herself diving and leaping off a boat with the Statue of Liberty in the background last week.<\/p>\n

\u201cswimming with lady liberty,\u201d she wrote next to some footage, and, \u201cthis feels like a dream,\u201d the blogger added next to more video from another angle.\u201d<\/p>\n

But scores of disgusted, incredulous social<\/a>-media posters warned that the woman, who TMZ said is 20, was in for a nightmare of potential health problems.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a death sentence,\u201d a Twitter user wrote.<\/p>\n

Another added, \u201cI kno she had chemical burns after that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Donna got so slammed that she forced to post a later video in which she recited facts about the river\u2019s water quality \u2014 and promised to head to the doctor\u2019s \u201csoon.\u201d<\/p>\n

Citing the New York state Department of Environmental Conservation\u2019s Web site about the river, the blogger said, \u201cIs the water clean? Swimmable? The results are mixed.\u201d<\/p>\n

But \u201cswallowing a few mouthfuls of river water does not significantly expose a person to these pollutants,\u201d she added of the Hudson\u2019s contamination.<\/p>\n

Donna added in her post, \u201cI\u2019m fine guys ?? thank you for your concern, I will be attending my annual check up soon! #learn #hudsonriver.\u201d<\/p>\n
