It misleads investors and harms the industry\u2019s image and market confidence.<\/p>\n<p>To build a crypto space with less FUD, <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/KuCoin?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#KuCoin<\/a> is going to launch an Anti-FUD Fund.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, the fund will mainly focus on&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>thread  <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/dWA93nEmHz\">pic.twitter.com\/dWA93nEmHz<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Johnny_KuCoin (@lyu_johnny) <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/lyu_johnny\/status\/1551901831672262658?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">July 26, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nLyu said the Anti-FUD fund will cover three elements, the first being education, which will \u201cdeliver knowledge, including what is FUD and how to distinguish it\u201d through online and offline means.<\/p>\n<p>The fund will also motivate and spread acclaim for industry leaders and influencers who are responsible and help followers or product users avoid FUD. <\/p>\n<p>Finally, the fund will seek to weed out and take legal action against individuals who \u201cintentionally spread FUD.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Speaking to Indian Express earlier this week, Lyu addressed the topic of market FUD saying that people who spread rumors should be held accountable for their words as they can affect the market and that Web 3.0 <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> can help increase tracking technology.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThe accountability mechanism in the Web 2.0 era is not mature enough and the cost of spreading rumors is very low.\u201d <\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He made the comments with the outlet at the same time as noting the firm is making efforts to expand its services into India.<\/p>\n<p>The Fund\u2019s launch comes a short time since Lyu had a heated exchange with crypto industry whistleblower Otteroooo on July 2. <\/p>\n<p>Otteroooo accused KuCoin of having exposure to the former Wr<a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ed LUNA (wLUNA) token which crashed in dramatic fashion in May, leaving the exchange insolvent. Lyu <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/lyu_johnny\/status\/1550735645509058561\">denied<\/a> that the exchange had internal <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.kucoin.com\/blog\/be-aware-of-fud\">exposure<\/a> to LUNA and is not insolvent. Whereas some defenders of crypto projects attempt to fight back against false claims designed to denigrate a project, others believe that any negative press is FUD regardless of its veracity.<\/p>\n<p>An example of the latter comes from the founder of online investment platform BanktoTheFuture Simon Dixon. He pointed out on July 26 that his qualms about beleaguered crypto lender Celsius\u2019s balance sheet were met with criticisms that he was merely spreading FUD.
