The most actively traded October contract<br \/>\n        BRN00,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/209704782\/delayed\" class=\"positive\">+2.23%<\/bg-quote><\/p>\n<p>        BRNV22,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/209705481\/delayed\" class=\"positive\">+2.23%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       was up $1.28, or 1.3%, at $100.74 a barrel.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n      Back on Nymex, August gasoline<br \/>\n        RBQ22,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210287910\/delayed\" class=\"positive\">+1.49%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       rose 0.8% to $3.3804 a gallon, while August heating oil<br \/>\n        HOQ22,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210064447\/delayed\" class=\"positive\">+2.88%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       gained 2% to $3.6561 a gallon.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n      August natural gas<br \/>\n        NGQ22,<br \/>\n        <bg-quote field=\"percentchange\" format=\"0,000.00%\" channel=\"\/zigman2\/quotes\/210192947\/delayed\" class=\"negative\">-3.04%<\/bg-quote><br \/>\n       fell 2.8%, to $8.577 per million British thermal units ahead of the contract\u2019s expiration at the end of the trading session.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Supply_data\"><\/span>Supply data<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h6>\n<p>Oil prices added to earlier gains on Wednesday after the Energy Information Administration reported weekly declines in U.S. crude, gasoline and distillate supplies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDespite the drop in refining activity, lower imports and strong exports have resulted in a solid draw to crude inventories \u2014 even with a 5.6 million-barrel [Strategic Petroleum Reserve] release into commercial stocks,\u201d said Matt Smith, lead oil analyst, Americas, at Kpler. \u201cDraws to both gasoline and distillates have rounded out a price-supportive report, as implied demand rose for both in the last\u00a0week.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>U.S. crude inventories fell by 4.5 million barrels for the week ended July 22, the EIA reported Wednesday. On average, analysts expected a decline of 800,000 barrels, according to a poll conducted by S&amp;P Global Commodity Insights. The American Petroleum Institute late Tuesday said U.S. crude supplies fell 4 million barrels last week, according to the Dow Jones Newswires. <\/p>\n<p>The EIA report also showed weekly supply declines of 3.3 million barrels for gasoline and 800,000 barrels for distillates.
