It said in its court filing that\u00a0Musk\u00a0has offered no assurance a trial would be completed in five days, as ordered by the judge, Kathaleen McCormick of the Delaware Court of Chancery.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwitter sought that commitment because it believes\u00a0Musk\u2019s objective remains to delay trial, render impracticable the Court\u2019s expedition order, and thus avoid adjudication of his contractual obligations,\u201d said the Twitter filing.<\/p>\n<p>Attorneys for\u00a0Musk, the world\u2019s richest person and chief executive of electric car maker Tesla, did not respond to requests for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter also dismissed\u00a0Musk\u2019s claims that the company was dragging its feet in responding to his demands for documents. Twitter said\u00a0Musk\u00a0is the one holding up the process by refusing to answer the company\u2019s complaint, which it said would clarify the issues and any counterclaims he may assert.<\/p>\n<p>Shares of Twitter closed up 1.3% at $39.85 on Wednesday.\u00a0Musk\u00a0agreed to acquire the company for $54.20 a share.\n                        <\/p><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">If you liked the article, do not forget to share it with your friends.
