The Reese\u2019s Peanut Butter Cups ranked No. 1 on CandyStore.com\u2019s list of most popular Halloween candies in the country last year, and Hershey\u2019s Kisses also made the top 10.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read more:<\/strong> This is the best candy to hand out on Halloween \u2014 and the absolute worst<\/p>\n<p>And when Hershey dropped a giant 3.4-pound Reese\u2019s Peanut Butter Cup pie for $45 for Thanksgiving last November, it sold out in less than two hours.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s more, Halloween spending hit an estimated $10.14 billion last year, according to the National Retail Federation, which hasn\u2019t released its 2022 projections yet. And that included <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/nrf.com\/topics\/holiday-and-seasonal-trends\/halloween\" class=\"icon none\">Americans dropping $3 billion on candy<\/a>, alone. So if Hershey can\u2019t meet demand, that opens up the door for confectionary competitors like Mars Inc. Home Depot<br \/>\n        HD<span><\/span><br \/>\n       has released its Halloween home d\u00e9cor online, including its viral $299, 12-foot skeleton, Skelly, which has been a seasonal sensation since 2020. The company reported second-quarter net income of $315.6 million, or $1.53 per share, up from $301.2 million, or $1.45 per share, last year.
