While George is having his first birthday, the show itself is about to celebrate its 60th: it debuted on Sept. 23, 1962, a century before it\u2019s set.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>That means we\u2019re supposed to be only 40 years away from the Jetsons\u2019 world of Rosie the Robot, toothbrushing machines and apartment buildings high above the clouds.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>So why are we still stuck on the ground waiting for our jetpacks? Skype came along in the early 2000s, and FaceTime followed in 2010. In 2062, Elroy Jetson and friends watch \u201cFlintstones\u201d reruns in the back of class on a watch TV \u2014\u00a0something you can now do on an <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">App<\/a>le Watch, which came out in 2015. That technology technically has existed since 2006 in the form of 3-D food printers, but it\u2019s limited to exhibitions, labs and experimental uses. One startup, for instance, is using 3-D printers to make\u00a0meaty steaks out of plant ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>While the world waits for such gadgets to become widely available, you can <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnet.com\/home\/kitchen-and-household\/june-oven-review\/#:~:text=For%20the%20uninitiated%2C%20the%20June,frying%20and%20a%20few%20more.\">get a June Smart Oven<\/a>, which costs round $1,000, operates over Wi-Fi and can sense what foods you\u2019re cooking. And self-driving cars might hit the market before 2062 if they can ever stop\u00a0killing people on the streets. <\/p>\n<p>Many fans \u2014 including Browsh and Graydon \u2014 cite flying cars as the Jetsons\u2019 invention they most long for.
