“#Seattle cop tells BLM protester he\u2019s quitting force: \u2018You guys won!\u2019<\/strong>”<\/p>\n

\n A Seattle cop was caught in a viral video announcing that he was quitting the force because of the Black Lives Matter protests \u2013 telling a demonstrator: \u201cI\u2019m leaving. You guys won!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving a good day, bud?\u201d the officer asks the man from the passenger side window after pulling up in his patrol car.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot really, you\u2019re around,\u201d the activist replies.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry for that, but don\u2019t worry, man, because guess what? I\u2019m leaving. You guys won! Two months, baby. I\u2019m out!\u201d the officer says.<\/p>\n

The incredulous protester asks, \u201cYou about to resign?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m f\u2014- gone, bro,\u201d the unnamed officer replies, adding that he feels \u201cgreat\u201d about his decision.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, what you\u2019re just tired of police brutality or are you tired of what\u2019s going on right now?\u201d asks the man, who also asks for an interview, which the cop declines and says he\u2019s quitting because of the protesters \u2013 not in solidarity with them.<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, us \u2026 why,\u201d the man asks the cop, who gets out of the vehicle for a moment to deal with a disturbance.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, he said he\u2019s tired of us! He\u2019s gonna resign because of Black Lives Matter, not because he\u2019s tired of the police!\u201d the man yells toward his fellow protesters.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, you triggered boy? You triggered? Oink, oink, oink, oink. F\u2014 you and your blue life, boy,\u201d he then tells the officer, who app<\/a>ears to be ready to extend an olive branch.<\/p>\n

\u201cNah, we ain\u2019t never gonna be friends. We\u2019ll never see eye to eye,\u201d the man tells him. \u201cI don\u2019t give a f\u2014- if you take that badge off, you\u2019ll never be my people. You\u2019ll never be my friend.\u201d<\/p>\n

It was not immedia<\/a>tely clear when and where the footage was shot, but it emerged days after Seattle Police Chief Carmen Best announced her resignation after the City Council voted to cut as many as 100 officers from her department.<\/p>\n

Roving gangs of Antifa rioters were caught on video Friday rampaging through the city\u2019s streets, destroying property and painting graffiti \u2013 some carrying shields emblazoned with the slogan \u201cf\u2013k the police.\u201d<\/p>\n

Two local activist groups have demanded that Mayor Jenny Durkan set aside $100 million for minority communities to explore alternative police models.<\/p>\n

Some Black Lives Matter activists have demanded that white people surrender their homes in a historically black neighborhood and \u201copen up your wallets\u201d to fund protester demands.\n <\/p><\/div>\n
