Like it was an intelligence operation,\u201d Rogan said. \u201cWhoever was running it, whether it was, the Mossad or whether it was CIA or whether it was a combination of both \u2014 it was an intelligence operation. They\u2019re more mature than we thought.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut if a scientist donates, I\u2019m sorry, if a rich person donates to a scientist, do they have any ability to weigh in or they\u2019re just like \u2018I get no decisions about how this money spent,\u2019\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Rogan replied: \u201cI don\u2019t know. I mean, I would imagine the money goes \u2014 like if you have a research grant and say like, you\u2019re working on a cure for leukemia or something like that, you know, you find established scientists that are working on this thing, and then you allocate money so that they can work on projects, whether or not the person who donates the money has any influence on how that money is spent \u2014 I doubt it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI highly doubt \u2026 legitimate scientists would adhere to that,\u201d Rogan added.<\/p>\n<p>Epstein killed himself while awaiting trial on sex-trafficking charges in 2019. Martin Nowak, a Harvard professor who had close ties to Epstein and who allegedly gave him an office on campus, was disciplined by the school.<\/p>\n<p>The visits by Epstein stopped after other researchers complained to Nowak about Epstein\u2019s presence, investigators said.<\/p>\n<p>The report cleared Harvard\u2019s senior leaders of wrongdoing, saying they acted <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/download-scripts-themes-apps\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"9\" title=\"Download Scripts &amp; Themes &amp; Apps\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">app<\/a>ropriately in their dealings with Epstein. <\/p>\n<p>Although most of the funding from Epstein had been spent by last year, the school said it donated the remaining $200,000 to groups that support victims of sex trafficking and assault.<\/p>\n<p>Other universities have also faced scrutiny over their ties to Epstein, including the Massachusetts Institute of <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/technology\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"4\" title=\"Technology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Technology<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The former director of MIT\u2019s famous <a href=\"https:\/\/buradabiliyorum.com\/en\/category\/social-mediaa\/\" data-internallinksmanager029f6b8e52c=\"1\" title=\"Social Media\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Media<\/a> Lab, Joi Ito, resigned in 2019 amid uproar over his financial connections to Epstein.
